Our Employee Owners

The company was founded in 1974 by Sherman Reece and Betty Koenigsberg, who built the company on long-standing relationships with HVAC contractors. In 2001, they created an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), thereby selling it to the employees.

Furthermore, the sales professionals at Superior bring more than 300 years of combined experience in the industry, giving them the knowledge and background needed to provide valuable assistance with the bidding and purchasing processes.

Product Availability

Superior Equipment Sales offers more than 150 total product lines and carries all of the components needed to install and maintain state-of-the art, energy-efficient heating and air conditioning systems. Our warehouses and showrooms carry $1 million in parts inventory to assure you don't have to wait for what you need. If we are unable to provide you with a normally stocked item that you need to meet your business deadline we will upgrade to the next larger size or efficiency for the same price.

Delivery

Our drivers are on the road early each morning to get your products delivered to the job site. In most cases, orders received by 10 a.m. are loaded and delivered the same day. Orders received by 3 p.m. will be delivered before noon the next day. Our service area extends from our four locations in Chesapeake, Hampton, Richmond to as far west as Lynchburg and as far north as Fredericksburg, as well as into eastern North Carolina.

Technical Support

Our experienced staff support customers with their technical and training needs. They bring decades of experience in installation and repair of HVAC components and are up-to-date on the latest product developments. Goodman Manufacturing's Technical Support is also just a phone call away.

Superior Equipment Sales regularly schedules classroom instruction on installation and repair of the products we sell by factory representatives. In addition, Goodman regularly provides free online webinars that cover installation and trouble shooting of their products.

Goodman manufacturing offers some of the best warranties in the business and Superior makes it easy for you to access this coverage with our full-time in house warranty processor. He has the experience and knowledge needed to help process the claims quickly and effectively.

It allows you to easily complete registration of product warranties online, submit warranty claims in minutes and get instant approval. It streamlines the process of managing product registrations, filing, validating warranty claims, paying reimbursements and recovering the cost of faulty parts.
