Superior Equipment Sales, Inc., has added the full line of Daikin products, including both residential and commercial mini-splits and multi-splits for our wholesale customers.

Mini-splits are fast becoming the the way of the future, with widespread popularity in Europe and Asia and a growing popularity in the United States.

Daikin's 2-port, 3-port and 4-port multi-split systems can serve up to four rooms from a single outdoor unit.  The indoor options consist of streamlined wall mount units, built-in slim duct units or a combination of both. These systems offer more than 1,000 connection combinations to create a flexible, powerful and energy-efficient system.

Their variable-speed capacity can maintain individual room conditions, typically reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to traditional fixed-speed systems.

Connected by a pair of refrigerant lines, few electrical Daikin slim vent connections and little to no ductwork, indoor and outdoor units can be installed in existing spaces with minor disruption.

Some of the wall mount units offer an intelligent eye feature that detects movement and automatically changes to energy saving mode when movement is not detected for over 20 minutes and switches back on when movement is detected.

Daikin is among the fastest-growing brands in the country and has become increasingly popular for commercial applications.

The company has established a website where business owners share their reasons for "Likin' Daikin."
The residential mini-splits and multi-splits are also enjoying wider application thanks to their capacity to create multiple zones that allow homeowners to set individual room temperatures.  They also save energy (lower utility bills) and can claim to offer "whisper quiet" operation.
Daikin is the largest manufacturer of heating and air conditioning products in the world, a title it held even prior to its purchase of Goodman Manufacturing last fall. The company has announced that it will be moving some of its manufacturing from Japan to Goodman's Houston facility. It will also be taking advantage of Goodman's warehouse and delivery system.
Superior will be announcing dealer training and certification credits in the near future.
