Ron Jeffries was named 2014 Salesperson of the Year for Superior Equipment Sales. Ron is the Territory Manager for Danville and southwest Virginia.
In presenting the award, Sales Manager Carter Shaw cited his “enthusiasm, work ethic, and optimism.” Shaw noted that despite a challenging economic environment in southwest Virginia, Ron’s “knowledge, experience and sheer will to succeed served him well in 2014,” resulting in a 20 percent increase in sales production over 2013. More than half of the growth came from new business, he added.
Ron joined Superior in the fall of 2013 after a 23-year career in the HVAC industry. He has a number of industry certifications and is NATE certified as a service and installation technician for AC and Heat Pumps.
Mary Kantmann, Territory Manager in Hampton Roads, was recognized for achieving her “Best Year Ever” in sales volume. She has been with the company for 25 years.
Safe Driver Awards were presented to the drivers who went the year without an accident or an infraction. They were Maurice Braswell, Richard “RJ” Chappelear, James Revell Sr., Prince “Demetrius” Lamb, John Buster-Wilson, Herbert “Vann” Coleman and Carroll Yates.
